First signs of Ear Infection

It is important to watch out for what causes infection in your dog’s ears. The first sign of an infection is when your dog wouldn’t stop rubbing his ears or angling his head to one side because of the pain they are experiencing. You may also find an unusual amount of wax build up in the ear canal causing it to smell and discharge. Head shaking is another major sign, your loving pet is very uncomfortable. When this is noticed, it is usually very easy to stop the infection from spreading from the outer canal to the middle ear and the inner ear which if ignored, can result in deafness.
